Joe Amato was on the radio when he was 15 and on TV when he was 21. As a local news sports anchor Joe worked in Texas, New Orleans, Hartford and New York. When someone said "you look like a cop" he worked on NBC's prime time drama THIRD WATCH. That started his acting career. Since 2005 he has been a principal actor in over 40 films. Joe had a key role in episode 4 of NBC's Celebrity Apprentice 2011. He worked with Nene Leakes, Latoya Jackson and Marlee Matlin. He lives in New York City and breaks curfew on most weekends.

As well, Joe has worked on some major Hollywood films: stand-in for Frank Langella on WALL STREET 2; the huge club scene on SEX AND THE CITY 2; secret service on SALT with Angelina Jolie; one scene with Janet Jackson in Tyler Perry's FOR COLORED GIRLS; bureau agent in THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU with Matt Damon and MIB Agent on MEN IN BLACK 3.
